SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Harry Debo; and

WHEREAS, Harry Debo was co-owner of the Debo Ace Hardware in Peru along with his brother, Mike; he also served as chairman of the board of the Peru Federal Savings Bank; and

WHEREAS, Harry Debo served on many civic boards, including the Illinois Valley Community College Board of Trustees, where he served from 1987 until 2003, and the Illinois Valley Community Hospital Board; and

WHEREAS, Harry Debo is survived by his wife, Barbara, and his children, Jennifer, George, and Laura; and

WHEREAS, Harry Debo will be remembered by all who knew and loved him as a level-headed, fair, and honest man who tried to help everyone with their problems; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Harry Debo; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Harry Debo as an expression of our sympathy.
