HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Ferrell of Herod on their 50th wedding anniversary; and

WHEREAS, Dennis Jerome Ferrell and Roberta Ann Hombirg were high school sweethearts; they were married October 5, 1958 in the First Baptist Church in Golconda; and

WHEREAS, According to Dennis his wife is the luckiest woman alive but the reality is that he is the luckiest man; and

WHEREAS, Dennis and Ann have one child, DJ, and two grandchildren, Jaylynn and Austin; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Dennis and Ann Ferrell on this momentous occasion and wish them continued good health and happiness for years to come; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Dennis and Ann Ferrell as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
