1     AN ACT concerning State government.

2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:

4     Section 5. The Department of Public Health Powers and
5 Duties Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is
6 amended by adding Section 2310-306 as follows:

7     (20 ILCS 2310/2310-306 new)
8     Sec. 2310-306. Telemedicine brochure. The Department of
9 Public Health, subject to appropriation, shall develop,
10 publish, and disseminate a brochure to educate the general
11 public on the use and availability in Illinois of telemedicine
12 and the advantages of telemedicine in providing access to
13 medical care in rural areas and in medically underserved areas.
