SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Barbara Ann "Barb" Eilken O'Toole, who passed away on August 20, 2023; and

WHEREAS, Barb O'Toole was born to Leroy and Shirley Eilken in Des Plaines on April 27, 1962; and

WHEREAS, Barb O'Toole worked in numerous different professions; and

WHEREAS, Barb O'Toole was a mother, grandmother, and friend whose family meant everything to her; she will be remembered for always putting others before herself and serving as a voice of reason; and

WHEREAS, Barbara O'Toole was preceded in death by her parents; and

WHEREAS, Barbara O'Toole was the wife of Christopher O'Toole for 35 years; the mother of Ericka (Josh), Kyle (Meghan), Brianna (Brian), and Brooke; the grandmother of Dakota, Tyler, Dane, and Kinsley; and the sister of Gerry, Randy, Linda, Kevin, and Scott; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Barbara Ann "Barb" Eilken O'Toole and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Barb O'Toole as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
