SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Nathaniel David "Nate" Peck of Peoria, who passed away on June 30, 2019; and

WHEREAS, Nate Peck was born in Peoria to David and Therese (Hranka) Peck on March 20, 1980; he graduated from Richwoods High School in 1998 and from Eastern Illinois University with a degree in accounting; and

WHEREAS, Nate Peck was a certified public accountant and owned and operated his own accounting business, Taxes Now; he also operated his own lawn care service; and

WHEREAS, Nate Peck's greatest passion was his music, and he was a solo musician in the Peoria music scene; and

WHEREAS, Nate Peck was preceded in death by his grandparents; and

WHEREAS, Nate Peck is survived by his parents; his sister, Emily (Justin) Vailes; his nephews, Auden and Ryder Vailes; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Nathaniel David "Nate" Peck and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Nate Peck as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
