SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

35 ILCS 200/16-35

Amends the Property Tax Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the adjournment of the boards of review.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning revenue.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Property Tax Code is amended by changing Section 16-35 as follows:

(35 ILCS 200/16-35)

Sec. 16-35. Adjournment of boards of review. The The final adjournment of the board of review in counties of less than 3,000,000 inhabitants shall be when the work for that assessment year is completed and the assessment books certified to the county clerk but no later than March 15 of the following year.
