SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with sadness of the untimely and tragic death of Jeseca Taylor Ruzich of Herrin on Wednesday, January 25, 2006; and

WHEREAS, Jeseca was born on December 21, 1998, to Cheryl Leposky Ruzich and Raymond Ruzich; she was a first-grade student at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Herrin; and

WHEREAS, She was a member of Arabesque Dance Studio of Carterville; she played soccer, danced, and loved crossword puzzles; she loved spending time with her sisters and her friends, especially Victoria; Jeseca will be sadly missed and never forgotten; and

WHEREAS, Jeseca was preceded in death by her sister, Ashley Ann Ruzich; her father, Raymond Ruzich; her maternal grandfather, Tom Leposky; and her paternal grandfather, Louis Ruzich; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Jeseca Taylor Ruzich has been deeply felt by many, especially her mother, Cheryl Leposky Ruzich; her sister, Stevie Raeann Ruzich; her aunts and uncles, Tom and Janet Leposky, Jeff Leposky, Mark Ruzich, and Steph and "Johnnie" Natyshok; her maternal grandmother, Charlene Leposky; her paternal grandmother, Diane Ruzich; her maternal great-grandmother, Pearl Lefler; her great uncle, George Lefler; and her cousins, Kyle and Ryan Leposky and Garrett and Gauge Leposky; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Jeseca Taylor Ruzich, who was taken from this world at much too young an age, and we extend our deepest sympathy to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to her family as an expression of deep sorrow for her passing and with our sincerest condolences.
