| HOUSE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
|
| 3 |
| Representatives wish to recognize the occasion of Adventist |
| 4 |
| GlenOaks Hospital's 25th anniversary as a health care provider |
| 5 |
| of excellence, and to thank the physicians, staff, |
| 6 |
| administrators, and volunteers for their unceasing work and |
| 7 |
| dedication to improving and promoting the health of the |
| 8 |
| community they serve; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, Adventist GlenOaks Hospital was founded 25 years |
| 10 |
| ago to provide emergency care close to home and initiate |
| 11 |
| special community service programs for the community; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, Today, Adventist GlenOaks is fulfilling its |
| 13 |
| mission as the only Disproportionate Share Hospital in DuPage |
| 14 |
| County with a major commitment to the health care needs of the |
| 15 |
| poor and indigent, and through its excellent Behavioral Health |
| 16 |
| services and Therapeutic Day School; and
|
| 17 |
| WHEREAS, On March 9, 2005, Adventist GlenOaks Hospital will |
| 18 |
| formally mark its 25th anniversary of health and spiritual |
| 19 |
| service to the Village of Glendale Heights and the surrounding |
| 20 |
| communities of DuPage County; therefore, be it
|
| 21 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 22 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 23 |
| we congratulate the physicians, staff, administrators, and |
| 24 |
| volunteers for their tireless efforts in maintaining and |
| 25 |
| improving the health of the communities they serve and proclaim |
| 26 |
| March 9, 2005 as Adventist GlenOaks Hospital Day; and be it |
| 27 |
| further
|

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 29 |
| presented to Adventist GlenOaks Hospital as an expression of |
| 30 |
| our respect and esteem and with best wishes for many more years |
