SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

225 ILCS 107/35

Amends the Professional Counselor and Clinical Professional Counselor Licensing Act. Makes a technical change to a Section concerning the application for an original license.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning regulation.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Professional Counselor and Clinical Professional Counselor Licensing Act is amended by changing Section 35 as follows:

(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2013)

Sec. 35. Application for original license. Applications for original licenses shall be made to the the Department on forms prescribed by the Department and accompanied by the required fee which is not refundable. All applications shall contain such information that, in the judgment of the Department, will enable the Department to pass on the qualifications of the applicant for a license to practice as a licensed professional counselor or licensed clinical professional counselor.
