SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Kenneth F. Fransen of Orion, who passed away on July 10, 2021; and

WHEREAS, Kenneth Fransen was born in Geneseo to Frank and Ora (Coneghy) Fransen on August 17, 1929; he married Eloise Mitchell on September 19, 1953; he served in the U.S. Army; and

WHEREAS, Kenneth Fransen worked as a farmer in the Orion area; and

WHEREAS, Kenneth Fransen was preceded in death by his parents; his brother; and his sister; and

WHEREAS, Kenneth Fransen is survived by his wife, Eloise; his daughter, Cathy Anderson; his son, Kevin Fransen; his grandchildren, Jessica (Keith) Egert, Ashley Fransen, and Stacey (Shane) Lofgren; his great-grandchildren, Kenny, Taylor, and Cameron; and his great-great-grandchild, Everly; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Kenneth F. Fransen and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Kenneth Fransen as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
