SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, Dudley T. Luebbert of Hartford passed away January
3 1, 2005; he was born August 22, 1935 in Granite City to the
4 late Theodore Henry and Reba (Morrow) Luebbert; he married Rose
5 (Lilley) Luebbert on April 4, 1959 in Hartford, and she
6 survives with 45 years of cherished memories of their life; and
 
7     WHEREAS, He retired in 2001 from the Operating Engineers
8 Local 520 after 37 years of dedicated service, and served for
9 the past 3 1/2 years as Chouteau Township Road Commissioner;
10 and
 
11     WHEREAS, He was a member of the Wood River Moose Lodge
12 #1349 for 49 years, Hartford Civic League for 18 years, and the
13 Alton Eagles Aerie #254; and
 
14     WHEREAS, Throughout his life, he served many people through
15 various organizations; he served as a Democratic committeeman
16 for 38 years, Chouteau Township trustee for 8 years, Gordon
17 Moore Park volunteer for 11 years, and treasurer and a
18 volunteer fireman with the Hartford Volunteer Fire Department
19 for 29 years; and
 
20     WHEREAS, He enjoyed gardening and serving people, and will
21 be remembered for the love of his family; and
 
22     WHEREAS, The passing of Dudley T. Luebbert will be felt by
23 all who knew and loved him, especially his wife; his daughter,
24 Kimberly (Dennis) Nappier; his sons, James D. (Paula) Luebbert,
25 William (Tina) Luebbert, and Theodore (Kristie) Luebbert; his
26 granddaughter, Jennifer Nappier Bradley; his grandsons, Justin
27 Nappier and Kevin, Seth, Ryan, and Matthew Luebbert; his
28 brothers, Darrell (Betty) Luebbert and Ted Luebbert; his
29 sister, Donna (Mel) Soures; and other extended family and many
30 dear friends; therefore, be it

1     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL
2 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3 Dudley T. Luebbert and we extend our sincerest condolences to
4 his family, friends, and community; and be it further
 
5     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6 presented to his family as an expression of our deepest
7 sympathy.
