SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate have learned with great sadness of the death of Elizabeth "Betty" Trovato on August 19, 2004 at the age of 67; and

WHEREAS, Mrs. Trovato served the city of Burbank for many years as a city employee, 4th Ward Alderman, and City Clerk; and

WHEREAS, Burbank Mayor Harry Klein remembered Mrs. Trovato as "a wonderful woman" who "served with honesty and integrity"; and

WHEREAS, Mrs. Trovato was preceded in death by her loving husband Peter Trovato, her death is a great loss to her sons Peter and Bill Trovato, her daughters Rosanne Crossen and Mary Wrobel, her sister Collette Carroll, her brother Joe Carroll, her 14 grandchildren, and her many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we express our deep sorrow at the passing of Elizabeth Trovato and that we offer our heartfelt sympathy to her family; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be delivered to her family with our condolences.
