SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois
3 were saddened to learn of the death of Kenneth Glenn Bullard
4 formerly of Perry on February 4, 2004; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Kenneth Bullard was born March 21, 1917 in Brown
6 County to the late Glenn and Esther Bullard; he married Jennie
7 Evelyn Parrick on June 2, 1940; and
 
8     WHEREAS, Mr. Bullard was a United States Navy Veteran
9 serving in World War II; he lived in Perry most of his life; he
10 worked for Read's General Store in Perry for 37 years and Perry
11 Farm Equipment Co. for four years; he also owned an insurance
12 agency; for more than 30 years he was the school treasurer, the
13 village treasurer, and a volunteer fireman in Perry; and
 
14     WHEREAS, Mr. Bullard was a member of the Perry United
15 Methodist Church, a charter member of the Perry American Legion
16 Post 1040, and a lifetime member in Perry Masonic Lodge 95; and
 
17     WHEREAS, The passing of Kenneth Glenn Bullard will be
18 deeply felt by many, especially his wife, Jennie Evelyn
19 Bullard; his sons, Robert G. Bullard (wife Joan) and Bruce L.
20 Bullard (wife Julie); his two grandchildren, Chad G. Bullard
21 (wife Jill) and Amy S. Malooley (husband Keith); his two
22 great-grandsons, Trenton and Derek Bullard; his brother, Lloyd
23 Bullard (wife Norma); his sister-in law, Marguerite Kennedy;
24 his four nieces; his two nephews; and several great-nieces and
25 great-nephews; and
 
26      WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents; one
27 granddaughter, Jody L. Bullard; and his brother-in-law, John
28 Kennedy; therefore, be it
 
29     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL

1 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the death of
2 Kenneth Glenn Bullard along with all who knew and loved him and
3 extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends; and
4 be it further
 
5     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6 presented to the family of Kenneth Glenn Bullard as an
7 expression of our deepest sympathy.
