 1                          SENATE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, The members  of  the  Senate  of  the  State  of
 3    Illinois were deeply saddened to learn of the death of Evelyn
 4    P. Bietsch of Springfield on Thursday, August 14, 2003; and

 5        WHEREAS,  Mrs.  Bietsch  was born on February 13, 1918 in
 6    Springfield to Charles and Julia Griffin Peters; she  married
 7    Albert Bietsch in 1937; and

 8        WHEREAS,  Mrs.  Bietsch  was a retired office manager for
 9    Sangamon County Democratic headquarters; she was a member  of
10    St. Joseph's Church and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority; and

11        WHEREAS, The passing of Mrs. Bietsch has been deeply felt
12    by  many,  especially  her  husband,  Albert;  her  daughter,
13    Beverly  Jean  Bietsch;  her sons, Albert (wife, Lee) Bietsch
14    Jr. and  Harry  Charles  (wife,  Doris  J.)  Bietsch;  her  5
15    grandchildren;  her  10  great-grandchildren;  her  brothers,
16    Louis  (wife, Elsie) and John S. (wife, Edna) Peters; and her
17    many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

18        RESOLVED, BY  THE  SENATE  OF  THE  NINETY-THIRD  GENERAL
19    ASSEMBLY  OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing
20    of Mrs. Evelyn P. Bietsch and extend our sincere  condolences
21    to  her  family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and
22    be it further

23        RESOLVED, That a suitable  copy  of  this  resolution  be
24    presented  to  the family of Mrs. Bietsch as an expression of
25    our deepest sympathy.
