 1                          SENATE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, The members  of  the  Senate  of  the  State  of
 3    Illinois  were  saddened  to  learn  of  the death of Fred D.
 4    Kozarits of Westmont on July 13, 2003; and

 5        WHEREAS, Mr. Kozarits sold medical equipment for  General
 6    Electric Co., where he worked for 37 years; during his tenure
 7    as   manager  of  international  sales  support  for  General
 8    Electric, he sold equipment used  for  MRIs,  CAT  scans  and
 9    other major medical procedures; and

10        WHEREAS,  Mr.  Kozarits,  whose three sons played several
11    sports at Hinsdale Central High School, also  was  well-known
12    for being a supportive father; in the late 1970s, he received
13    a   "Super   Dad"  award  from  the  high  school's  athletic
14    department; and

15        WHEREAS, Mr. Kozarits also served in the Air Force in the
16    1950s; he was stationed at Carswell Air  Force  Base  in  Ft.
17    Worth; and

18        WHEREAS, The passing of Fred Kozarits will be deeply felt
19    by  his  wife,  Judith; his three sons, Stephen, Richard, and
20    Christopher;  his  sister,  Ann;  and  seven   grandchildren;
21    therefore, be it

22        RESOLVED,  BY  THE  SENATE  OF  THE  NINETY-THIRD GENERAL
23    ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the death of
24    Fred D. Kozarits along with all who knew and  loved  him  and
25    extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends; and
26    be it further

27        RESOLVED,  That  a  suitable  copy  of this resolution be
28    presented to the family of Fred D. Kozarits  along  with  our
29    deepest sympathy.
