 1                          SENATE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, The members  of  the  Senate  of  the  State  of
 3    Illinois were saddened to learn of the death of Jack Kelly of
 4    Chicago at the age of 61; and

 5        WHEREAS,  Mr.  Kelly  was  a  member  of  the  Knights of
 6    Columbus, the Mt. Carmel Mens Club, and the Mensa Society; he
 7    was a devoted teacher at Everett Dirksen School in Dolton and
 8    the owner of the East Side Currency Exchange; and

 9        WHEREAS, Mr. Kelly's passing will be deeply felt by many,
10    especially his  beloved  wife,  Kitty,  nee  Buckendahl;  his
11    children,  Colleen  (Robert)  Cassidy and John (Julie) Kelly;
12    his  grandchildren,  Victoria  Alice  and  Olivia  Jane;  his
13    brothers, Thomas (Marlene) Kelly, Richard (Kelly) Kelly;  and
14    his many nieces and nephews; and

15        WHEREAS,  Mr.  Kelly  was preceded in death by his sister
16    Nancy (David) Bienfang; therefore, be it

17        RESOLVED, BY  THE  SENATE  OF  THE  NINETY-THIRD  GENERAL
18    ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the death of
19    Jack  Kelly  and  express our sincere and deepest sympathy to
20    his family and friends; and be it further

21        RESOLVED, That a suitable  copy  of  this  resolution  be
22    presented to the family of Jack Kelly as an expression of our
23    condolences.
