 1        AN ACT making appropriations.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The amount of $12,000,000, or so much of that
 5    amount  as  may  be necessary, is appropriated to the Capital
 6    Development Board from the Capital Development Fund  for  the
 7    construction  of  80  additional  beds  at the LaSalle County
 8    Veteran's Home.

 9        Section 99.  Effective date. This  Act  takes  effect  on
10    July 1, 2003.
