 1        AN ACT concerning health care.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5.  The  Managed  Care Reform and Patient Rights
 5    Act is amended by changing Section 100 as follows:

 6        (215 ILCS 134/100)
 7        Sec. 100. Prohibition of waiver of rights.  A  No  health
 8    care  plan  or  contract may not shall contain any provision,
 9    policy, or procedure that limits, restricts, or waives any of
10    the rights set  forth  in  this  Act.   Any  such  policy  or
11    procedure shall be void and unenforceable.
