 1        AN ACT to create the Revolving Door Prohibition Act.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 1.  Short title.  This Act may be  cited  as  the
 5    Revolving Door Prohibition Act.

 6        Section 5.  Revolving door prohibition.  State employees,
 7    whether  employed  by the legislative, executive, or judicial
 8    branch, whose duties with the State were directly related  to
 9    procurement  or  awarding  contracts or grants may not, for a
10    period of 2 years following separation of  service  with  the
11    employing  agency, have a contract with the agency, or engage
12    in lobbying with  that  agency  whether  directly  or  as  an
13    employee or agent of another.

15        Section  90.  The Illinois Procurement Code is amended by
16    repealing Section 50-30.
