SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

415 ILCS 5/58.4

Amends the Environmental Protection Act. Makes technical changes to a Section concerning a permit waiver.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning environmental protection.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Environmental Protection Act is amended by changing Section 58.4 as follows:

(415 ILCS 5/58.4)

Sec. 58.4. Permit waiver. A State permit or permit revision that which is not otherwise required by federal law or regulations shall not be required for remedial action activities undertaken pursuant to the provisions of this Title that occur entirely on the site.
