 1        AN ACT making appropriations.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4                              ARTICLE 1

 5        Section 5.  The sum of $3,101,100, or so much thereof  as
 6    may  be  necessary,  is appropriated to the Community College
 7    Health Insurance Security Fund for the State's  contribution,
 8    as required by law.

 9        Section  10.  The following amounts or so much thereof as
10    may be necessary, respectively, are appropriated to the Board
11    of Trustees of the State Universities Retirement  System  for
12    the State's contribution, as provided by law:
13    Payable from the Common School Fund .............$250,000,000
14    Payable from the General Revenue FUnd ...........  46,080,000
15        Total                                        $296,080,000

16        Section  99.   Effective  date.  This Act takes effect on
17    July 1, 2003.
