 1        AN ACT in relation to highways.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5. The Illinois Highway Code is amended by adding
 5    Section 5-401.1 as follows:

 6        (605 ILCS 5/5-401.1 new)
 7        Sec.  5-401.1.  Construction  of  State  highways;  field
 8    supervision.  On  any State highway construction project, the
 9    person or persons responsible for field  supervision  of  the
10    project may not belong to the same collective bargaining unit
11    as the workers on the project.
