| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives are |
| 3 |
| pleased to honor Staff Sergeant Keith Hildebrandt as he returns |
| 4 |
| home from serving with his Illinois National Guard Unit in the |
| 5 |
| war in Iraq; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, Staff Sergeant Hildebrandt graduated from |
| 7 |
| Illiopolis High School in May of 1998; he enlisted in the |
| 8 |
| Illinois National Guard in April of 1998; he is a member of the |
| 9 |
| 233rd Military Police Company based at Camp Lincoln in |
| 10 |
| Springfield; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, Staff Sergeant Hildebrandt and his unit left for |
| 12 |
| Fort McCoy, Wisconsin, on February 10, 2003; they left for Iraq |
| 13 |
| on April 6, 2003, and arrived in Baghdad on April 20, 2003; |
| 14 |
| they returned to Fort McCoy on April 19, 2004; and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, Staff Sergeant Hildebrandt is the son of Mike and |
| 16 |
| Micki Hildebrandt of Illiopolis; he is the brother of Melanie |
| 17 |
| who graduated from Illiopolis High School in May of 2000; his |
| 18 |
| brother, Sergeant Paul Hildebrandt served with him in Iraq and |
| 19 |
| has returned home as well; therefore, be it
|
| 20 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 21 |
| NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 22 |
| honor Staff Sergeant Keith Hildebrandt for his service in the |
| 23 |
| war in Iraq; and be it further
|
| 24 |
| RESOLVED, That we thank him for his willingness to serve |
| 25 |
| our country in such a manner; and be it further
|
| 26 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 27 |
| presented to Staff Sergeant Keith Hildebrandt as an expression |
| 28 |
| of our gratitude and esteem.
