HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to recognize Patrick Mannelly, a member of the Chicago Bears, for his participation in the Friends Forever Humane Society's Golf Outing Fundraiser to be held on June 26, 2004 at Wolf Hollow Golf Course in Lena; and

WHEREAS, Patrick Mannelly has been with the Bears since 1998; he is #65 and is the team's long-snapper; and

WHEREAS, During his pro career as a rock-solid veteran performer he has distinguished himself as one of the most reliable long-snappers in the National Football League; his quick release and accurate delivery have helped the Bears extend their NFL record streak of games without a blocked punt; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we thank Patrick Mannelly for participating in the Friends Forever Humane Society's Golf Outing and Fundraiser and wish him well for the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Patrick Mannelly as a token of our respect and esteem.
