 1                          HOUSE RESOLUTION

 2        BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF  REPRESENTATIVES  OF  THE
 3    NINETY-THIRD  GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
 4    we respectfully request the Department of Human  Services  to
 5    compile  and  report  to the General Assembly, by county, the
 6    following  information  about  the  developmentally  disabled
 7    persons in this State:
 8             (1)  the   total   population   of   developmentally
 9        disabled persons;
10             (2)  population  statistics  broken  down  into  the
11        following age categories:  persons under age 18;  persons
12        age 18 to 64; persons age 65 and over;
13             (3)  the  number and percentage of persons receiving
14        services from the Department, by age category;
15             (4)  the number and percentage  of  persons  waiting
16        for services from the Department, by age category; and
17             (5)  the  average waiting time for services from the
18        Department, by age category.
