| HOUSE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives wish to congratulate Rebecca Paige Lang on the |
| 4 |
| occasion of her Bat Mitzvah on March 27, 2004; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Rebecca "Becky" Paige Lang was born on March 10, |
| 6 |
| 1991, bringing joy and happiness to parents Representative Lou |
| 7 |
| Lang and Teri Lang of Skokie; she is the beloved granddaughter |
| 8 |
| of Eugene and Shirley Lang, Faye Rosenbaum and the late Paul |
| 9 |
| Rosenbaum; she is the sister of David Lang (wife, Brie), Adam |
| 10 |
| Lang (wife, Mindy), Chad Paul, and Matthew Paul; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, A Bat Mitzvah is a rite of passage, a crossover |
| 12 |
| from childhood to adulthood, and is a milestone in a Jewish |
| 13 |
| life; Becky has studied at Temple Beth Israel in Skokie; and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, Becky is a bright, sensitive and funny girl who |
| 15 |
| loves animals and young children; she is a talented singer, |
| 16 |
| dancer, actress, and musician and has appeared in over twenty |
| 17 |
| plays and productions; she expects and demands excellence in |
| 18 |
| herself and has overcome personal obstacles at school and in |
| 19 |
| life that are helping her to mature into a strong young adult; |
| 20 |
| therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

| NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |

| congratulate Becky Lang on the special occasion of her Bat |
| 24 |
| Mitzvah and extend our sincerest wishes to Becky for a long, |
| 25 |
| joyous, and productive life; and be it further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |

| presented to Becky Lang as an expression of our esteem.
