 1                          HOUSE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, The 2002 Downers Grove Citizen of the Year Award
 3    has been awarded to Tom  Sisul  by  the  Downers  Grove  Area
 4    Chamber  of  Commerce  and  Industry;  his selfless acts have
 5    proven him to be an invaluable citizen of Downers Grove; and

 6        WHEREAS, Mr. Sisul has made  many  contributions  to  his
 7    community  over  the  past  30 years including being a Lion's
 8    Club member for 26 years, a Rotarian  and  recipient  of  The
 9    Paul  Harris  Award,  and  a  long time participant on School
10    Board caucuses; in addition, he has  served  on  the  Library
11    Board Selection Committee, as Park District soccer coach, and
12    Road Runners soccer coach; and

13        WHEREAS,  Mr.  Sisul  is  also  a  26  year member of the
14    Chamber, serving as Chamber attorney for over 10  years,  and
15    is  a  past  Chairman  of  the  Board of the Chamber; he is a
16    member of the Village Planning Commission, has  been  Village
17    Commissioner  for  the  past  10  years,  and served as mayor
18    pro-term for 5 years; therefore, be it

19        RESOLVED,  BY  THE  HOUSE  OF  REPRESENTATIVES   OF   THE
20    NINETY-THIRD  GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
21    we congratulate Tom Sisul on being chosen as the 2002 Downers
22    Grove Citizen of the Year by the Downers Grove  Area  Chamber
23    of Commerce and Industry and wish him health and happiness in
24    all of his future endeavors; and be it further

25        RESOLVED,  That  a  suitable  copy  of this resolution be
26    presented to Tom Sisul as an expression of  our  respect  and
27    esteem.
