 1                          HOUSE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS,  The  members   of   the   Illinois   House   of
 3    Representatives  congratulate  the  ladies  of  Homewood High
 4    School in Flossmoor for their participation in the IHSA Girls
 5    State Track meet on May 24, 2003; and

 6        WHEREAS, The team placed 9th overall at the meet with  19
 7    points; and

 8        WHEREAS,  Brittany  Riley,  a junior at Flossmoor, placed
 9    2nd in the discus throw with a 135 foot  throw,  and  4th  in
10    Shot  Put  with  a 42 foot 10 3/4 inch throw; senior Kristina
11    Jones placed 5th in the Triple Jump with a 38 foot 2 1/2 inch
12    jump; therefore, be it

13        RESOLVED,  BY  THE  HOUSE  OF  REPRESENTATIVES   OF   THE
14    NINETY-THIRD  GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
15    we congratulate the ladies of the Homewood High School  Girls
16    Track  Team  and  wish  them  well  in  all  of  their future
17    endeavors; and be it further

18        RESOLVED, That a suitable  copy  of  this  resolution  be
19    presented  to  each  member of the Homewood High School Girls
20    Track Team.
