 1                          HOUSE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, It has come to the attention of the  members  of
 3    the   House   of  Representatives  that  Lindenhurst  Village
 4    President Paul Baumunk is retiring from his position after 12
 5    years of service; and

 6        WHEREAS, Paul Baumunk has  served  as  Village  President
 7    since April 22, 1991; and

 8        WHEREAS,  He received a Bachelor degree in Education from
 9    Mankato State University and a Masters  degree  in  Education
10    from  Northern  Illinois University; Mr. Baumunk is a Vietnam
11    Veteran; and

12        WHEREAS, Mr. Baumunk taught at Lake  Forest  High  School
13    from  1970  to 1977 and the College of Lake County Vocational
14    Center from 1978 to 2001; he retired from  teaching  after  a
15    thiry year career; and

16        WHEREAS,  Mr.  Baumunk  has  been married to his wife Joy
17    Baumunk for 32 years and they have two children,  Philip  and
18    Amy; and

19        WHEREAS,  He is a member of the VFW Post #4894, the Lyons
20    Club, the Chamber of  Commerce,  and  the  Lindenhurst  Men's
21    Club;  in  addition,  he  has  served on the Lindenhurst Plan
22    Commission and the Lindenhurst Lakes  Commission;  therefore,
23    be it

24        RESOLVED,   BY   THE  HOUSE  OF  REPRESENTATIVES  OF  THE
25    NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS,  that
26    we  congratulate Paul Baumunk as he retires from his position
27    as Village President of Lindenhurst and wish him well in  all
28    of his future endeavors; and be it further

29        RESOLVED,  That  a  suitable  copy  of this resolution be
30    presented to Paul Baumunk as an expression of our respect and
