 1                          HOUSE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, The members of the House of  Representatives  of
 3    the  State  of  Illinois  wish  to congratulate the Centralia
 4    Trinity Lutheran Grade School Lady Royals basketball team  on
 5    placing  eighth in the 2003 Lutheran Sports Association State
 6    Basketball Championship and being named the recipient of  the
 7    Good Sportsmanship Award; and

 8        WHEREAS,  The  Lady  Royals entered the tournament with a
 9    record of 20 wins and 5 losses;  the  Lady  Royals  were  the
10    champions  of  the  Little  Six  League  and  the  Little Six
11    Tournament; this was their  fifth  appearance  in  the  State
12    Tournament; and

13        WHEREAS,  The  coach  of  the  team  is  J.P. Schmid; the
14    assistant coaches are Mike Runyon and Jeff Koger; and

15        WHEREAS, The members of the Lady Royals  basketball  team
16    are  Lindsey  Freels,  Courtney Mattmiller, Samantha Koelmel,
17    Andrea Ziegler,  Courtney  Queen,  Danielle  Miller,  Mallory
18    Houser,  Jamie  Casseday,  Kelsie  Koger,  and  Kelsie Biagi;
19    therefore, be it

20        RESOLVED,  BY  THE  HOUSE  OF  REPRESENTATIVES   OF   THE
21    NINETY-THIRD  GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
22    we congratulate the Centralia Trinity Lady Royals  basketball
23    team   on   placing   eighth  in  the  2003  Lutheran  Sports
24    Association State Basketball Championship and  receiving  the
25    Good Sportsmanship Award; and be it further

26        RESOLVED,  That  suitable  copies  of  this resolution be
27    presented to the coaches and team members  of  the  Centralia
28    Trinity  Lutheran  girls  basketball  team  as a token of our
29    respect and esteem.
