 1                          HOUSE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, The members of the House of  Representatives  of
 3    the  State  of  Illinois  wish  to congratulate the Centralia
 4    Trinity Lutheran Royals boys basketball team on  winning  the
 5    2003    Lutheran    Sports   Association   State   Basketball
 6    Championship; and

 7        WHEREAS, The Royals  ended  the  season  with  a  perfect
 8    record  of  31 wins and no losses; they defeated the Kankakee
 9    St. Paul Lutheran team in the title game by a score of 50  to
10    28;  the  Royals  also  won  the  Collinsville  Good Shepherd
11    Lutheran  Tournament  Championship,   the   Belleville   Zion
12    Lutheran Tournament Championship, and the Greater Springfield
13    Lutheran  Association  Tournament Championship, and they were
14    the Little Six Conference Champions; and

15        WHEREAS, The coach  of  the  Royals  is  Fred  Harm;  the
16    assistant coaches are Michael Daum and Roger Wolff; and

17        WHEREAS,  The  members of the Royals boys basketball team
18    are Andy Wolff, James Gullen,  Jason  Mann,  Jon  Mann,  Jake
19    Prosise,  Kyle  Cook,  Josh Stevenson, Crue Root, Ben Kracht,
20    and Dhruv Vig; and

21        WHEREAS, The coach of the Royals  cheerleading  squad  is
22    Lisa  Koger  and  the  assistant  coaches are Lisa Kracht and
23    Lynette Koelmel; and

24        WHEREAS, The members of the Royals cheerleading squad are
25    Kelcie  Shaw,  Courtney  Queen,  Aimee  Aud,  Emily   Kracht,
26    Samantha  Koelmel,  Mallory  Houser,  Kelsie  Biagi,  Arielle
27    Copple, Jessica Knolhoff, and Kelsie Koger; therefore, be it

28        RESOLVED,   BY   THE  HOUSE  OF  REPRESENTATIVES  OF  THE
29    NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS,  that
30    we  congratulate the Centralia Trinity Royals boys basketball
31    team on a perfect season and winning the 2003 Lutheran Sports

 2        RESOLVED, That suitable  copies  of  this  resolution  be
 3    presented  to  the coaches, team members, and cheerleaders of
 4    the Centralia Trinity Lutheran  boys  basketball  team  as  a
 5    token of our respect and esteem.
