HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the General Assembly are happy to note that Karilyn Elizabeth Lipcamon is about to receive the Youth Community-Certificate of Merit; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Lipcamon is a talented musician, a student leader, and an excellent student at Pittsfield High School; and

WHEREAS, In addition to her scholastic activities, Ms. Lipcamon volunteers to tutor students four days per week at school and she volunteers her time with children and the elderly as well as with religious organizations; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Lipcamon was selected to attend a National Youth Conference in Washington, D.C. and she is a leader in the Students Against Destructive Decisions organization at Pittsfield High School; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Lipcamon is a member of the National Honor Society at Pittsfield High School; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that that we congratulate Karilyn Elizabeth Lipcamon on her receipt of the Youth Community-Certificate of Merit; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be delivered to Ms. Lipcamon along with our congratulations and our sincere best wishes for a promising future.
