| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

| NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE |

| SENATE CONCURRING HEREIN, that there is created the Rural Water |
| 5 |
| Infrastructure Task Force consisting of the Chair of the |
| 6 |
| Governor's Rural Affairs Council and 12 additional members |
| 7 |
| appointed as follows: one member appointed by the Director of |
| 8 |
| the Environmental Protection Agency, 2 members appointed by the |
| 9 |
| Director of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, one of whom |
| 10 |
| represents the interests of local governments, one member |
| 11 |
| appointed by the Executive Director of the Illinois Finance |
| 12 |
| Authority, 2 members appointed by the President of the Senate, |
| 13 |
| 2 members appointed by the Minority Leader of the Senate, 2 |
| 14 |
| members appointed by the Speaker of the House of |
| 15 |
| Representatives, and 2 members appointed by the Minority Leader |
| 16 |
| of the House of Representatives; and be it further
|
| 17 |
| RESOLVED, That the Task Force shall study ways to improve |
| 18 |
| access to rural
water infrastructure funds and shall report its |
| 19 |
| findings to the
General Assembly on or before December 31, |
| 20 |
| 2004; and be it further
|
| 21 |
| RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be presented to |
| 22 |
| the Chair of the Governor's Rural Affairs Council, the Director |
| 23 |
| of the
Environmental Protection Agency, the Director of |
| 24 |
| Commerce and Economic Opportunity, the Executive Director of |
| 25 |
| the Illinois Finance Authority, the President of the Senate, |
| 26 |
| the Minority Leader of the Senate, the
Speaker of the House of |
| 27 |
| Representatives, and the Minority Leader of the House
