 1        AN ACT in relation to elections.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The Election  Code  is  amended  by  changing
 5    Section 7-6 as follows:

 6        (10 ILCS 5/7-6) (from Ch. 46, par. 7-6)
 7        Sec. 7-6. Expenses of primary.  The expense of conducting
 8    each  primary,  including the per diem of judges, furnishing,
 9    warming, lighting, and maintaining the polling place, and all
10    other expenses necessarily incurred in the preparation for or
11    conducting the such primary shall be paid in the same manner,
12    and by the  same  authorities  or  officers  as  provided  in
13    Sections 17-30 through 17-32 of this Code.
