Amends the Local Records Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the local records advisor.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT in relation to government records.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Local Records Act is amended by changing Section 5 as follows:

(50 ILCS 205/5) (from Ch. 116, par. 43.105)

Sec. 5. The Archivist shall be local records advisor and shall appoint any such assistants as necessary to assist local governments in carrying out the purposes of this Act.
