Amends the Code of Civil Procedure. Makes technical changes in a Section concerning the effect of Article, Part, and Section headings.

AN ACT in relation to civil procedure.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Code of Civil Procedure is amended by changing Section 1-103 as follows:

(735 ILCS 5/1-103) (from Ch. 110, par. 1-103)

Sec. 1-103. Effect of headings. Article, Part, and Section headings contained in this Code herein shall not be deemed to govern, limit, modify, or in any manner affect the scope, meaning, or intent of the provisions of any Article, Part, or Section of this Code Act.
