SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

705 ILCS 405/5-115

Amends the Juvenile Court Act of 1987. Makes a technical change in a Section of the "Delinquent Minors" Article of the Act concerning the rights of victims.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT in relation to minors.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Juvenile Court Act of 1987 is amended by changing Section 5-115 as follows:

(705 ILCS 405/5-115)

Sec. 5-115. Rights of victims. In all proceedings under this Article, victims shall have the same rights of victims in criminal proceedings as provided in the Bill of Rights for Children and the Rights of Crime Victims and Witnesses Act.
