Amends the Employment of Strikebreakers Act. Makes a stylistic change in provisions concerning applicability of the Act.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning employment.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Employment of Strikebreakers Act is amended by changing Section 3 as follows:

(820 ILCS 30/3) (from Ch. 48, par. 2g)

Sec. 3. This Act does shall not apply to the employment of any person whose services are necessary to ensure that the plant or other property of the employer involved in the strike or lockout is properly maintained and protected for the resumption at any time of normal operations.
