    Amends the Illinois Medical District at Springfield Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning notice.

1     AN ACT concerning special districts.
 
2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
 
4     Section 5. The Illinois Medical District at Springfield Act
5 is amended by changing Section 45 as follows:
 
6     (70 ILCS 925/45)
7     Sec. 45. Notice. Before holding any public hearing
8 prescribed in Section 40 of this Act, or any meeting regarding
9 the passage of any resolution to file a law suit, the Illinois
10 Medical District at Springfield Commission shall give notice to
11 the grantee or lessee, or his or her legal representatives,
12 successors, or assigns, of the time and place of the
13 proceeding. The notice shall be accompanied by a statement
14 signed by the Secretary of the Commission, or by any person
15 authorized by the Commission to sign the same, setting forth
16 any act or things done or omitted to be done in violation, or
17 claimed to be in violation, of any restriction as to the use of
18 the property, whether the restriction be prescribed in any of
19 the terms of this Act or by any restriction as to the use of the
20 property determined by the Commission under the terms of this
21 Act. The notice of the time and place fixed for the proceeding
22 shall also be given to such person or persons as the Commission
23 shall deem necessary. The notice may be given by registered
24 mail, addressed to the grantee, lessee, or legal
25 representatives, successors, or assigns, at the last known
26 address of the grantee, lessee, or legal representatives,
27 successors, or assigns.
