20 ILCS 860/4a   from Ch. 105, par. 534a

    Amends the Outdoor Recreation Resources Act. Makes technical changes in a Section concerning receipt of federal moneys.

1     AN ACT concerning outdoor recreation.
 
2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
 
4     Section 5. The Outdoor Recreation Resources Act is amended
5 by changing Section 4a as follows:
 
6     (20 ILCS 860/4a)  (from Ch. 105, par. 534a)
7     Sec. 4a. The Historic Preservation Agency is authorized to
8 receive Federal moneys monies for the survey, acquisition,
9 planning and development of historically significant
10 properties and interests. Moneys Monies so received shall be
11 placed in the Illinois Historic Sites Fund in the State
12 Treasury. The State Treasurer shall, ex officio, be the
13 custodian of such fund. Subject to appropriation, such fund
14 shall be drawn upon by the Agency or disbursed by the State
15 Treasurer to local governmental units or other qualified
16 participants upon the direction of the Agency.
