 1        AN ACT making appropriations.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4                              ARTICLE 1

 5        Section 1.  The  following  named  amounts,  or  so  much
 6    thereof  as  may  be necessary, respectively, for the objects
 7    and purposes hereinafter named,  are  appropriated  from  the
 8    General  Revenue  Fund  to  meet  the ordinary and contingent
 9    expenses of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Commission:
10      For Personal Services ........................ $    357,000
11      For Employee Retirement Contributions
12       Paid by Employer.............................       14,300
13      For State Contributions to State
14       Employees' Retirement System.................       48,000
15      For State Contributions to
16       Social Security .............................       26,500
17      For Contractual Services .....................      100,800
18      For Travel ...................................       20,000
19      For Commodities ..............................       12,000
20      For Printing .................................        6,000
21      For Equipment ................................        1,500
22      For Telecommunications Services ..............       19,000
23      For Operation of Automotive Equipment.........        2,500
24      For Expenses relative to the operation
25       of the Commission............................       29,600
26        Total                                            $637,200

27        Section 99.  Effective date.  This Act  takes  effect  on
28    July 1, 2003.
