 1        AN ACT making appropriations.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4                              ARTICLE 1

 5        Section 1.  The  following  named  amounts,  or  so  much
 6    thereof  as  may be necessary, respectively, are appropriated
 7    from the General Revenue Fund for the  objects  and  purposes
 8    hereinafter  named,  to  meet  the  ordinary  and  contingent
 9    expenses of the State Police Merit Board:
10      For Personal Services ........................ $    344,900
11      For Employee Retirement Contributions
12       Paid by Employer ............................       13,800
13      For State Contributions to State
14       Employees' Retirement System ................       46,400
15      For State Contribution to

21      For Equipment ................................        8,100
22      For Electronic Data Processing ...............        8,000
23      For Telecommunications Services ..............       12,000
24      For Operation of Automotive Equipment ........        2,700
25        Total                                            $805,400

26        Section  99.   Effective  date.  This Act takes effect on
27    July 1, 2003.
