 1        AN ACT in relation to veterans.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The Veterans Burial Places Act is amended  by
 5    changing Section 3 as follows:

 6        (330 ILCS 110/3) (from Ch. 21, par. 59c)
 7        Sec.  3.  Veteran  organizations.     For  the purpose of
 8    locating the burial places of United States War Veterans, the
 9    different  Veteran  organizations,  their   auxiliaries   and
10    affiliated   organizations  in  the  State  of  Illinois  are
11    authorized, without expense to  the  State,  to  collect  the
12    required  data  and  prepare  and file with the Department of
13    Veterans' Affairs the information provided for in  section  1
14    hereof.  For  filing  and recording this report, the Illinois
15    Veterans' Commission may charge a  fee  of  25  cents  for  a
16    single  report  and  not  to  exceed  50  cents per folio for
17    reports containing more than  one  name  and  more  than  one
18    folio.   A  representative    of  the Department of Veterans'
19    Affairs may visit cemeteries of the State or  resort  to  any
20    other  reliable  means  to locate the burial places of United
21    States War Veterans.
