 1        AN ACT in relation to education.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The State Aid Continuing Appropriation Law is
 5    amended by changing Section 15-10 as follows:

 6        (105 ILCS 235/15-10)
 7        (Section scheduled to be repealed on June 30, 2003)
 8        Sec.  15-10.   Annual Budget budget; recommendation.  The
 9    Governor shall include a Common School Fund recommendation to
10    the State Board of Education in the fiscal year 1999  through
11    2003  annual Budgets sufficient to fund (i) the General State
12    Aid Formula set  forth  in  subsection  (E)  (Computation  of
13    General  State  Aid) and subsection (H) (Supplemental General
14    State Aid) of Section 18-8.05 of the School Code and (ii) the
15    supplementary payments for  school  districts  set  forth  in
16    subsection  (J)  (Supplementary  Grants  in  Aid)  of Section
17    18-8.05 of the School Code.
