 1        AN ACT concerning business organizations.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5.   The Assumed Business Name Act is amended by
 5    changing Section 3 as follows:

 6        (805 ILCS 405/3) (from Ch. 96, par. 6)
 7        Sec. 3. Alphabetical index. The several County Clerks  of
 8    this  State  shall  keep an alphabetical index of all persons
 9    filing certificates pursuant to Sections 1 and 2, and for the
10    indexing and filing of such certificate shall receive  a  fee
11    of $5.00. A copy of such certificate and receipt for proof of
12    publication,  duly  certified to by the County Clerk in whose
13    office  the  certificate  is  filed,  shall  be   presumptive
14    evidence  in  all  courts  of  law in this State of the facts
15    therein contained.
