 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The following named sums, or so much  thereof
 5    as  may  be  necessary, respectively, are appropriated to the
 6    Supreme Court to pay the ordinary and contingent expenses  of
 7    certain officers of the court system of Illinois as follows:

 9        Section  30.  The  sum  of $64,900, or so much thereof as
10    may be necessary, is appropriated to the  Supreme  Court  for
11    the contingent expenses of the Illinois Courts Commission.

12        Section 35.  The sum of $9,733,100, or so much thereof as
13    may   be   necessary,  is  appropriated  from  the  Mandatory
14    Arbitration  Fund  to  the  Supreme   Court   for   Mandatory
15    Arbitration Programs.

16        Section  40.   The sum of $116,800, or so much thereof as
17    may be necessary, is appropriated from the  Foreign  Language
18    Interpreter  Fund  to  the  Supreme  Court  for  the  Foreign
19    Language Interpreter Program.

20        Section  45.  The  sum of $728,000, or so much thereof as
21    may  be  necessary,  is  appropriated   from   the   Lawyers'
22    Assistance  Program  Fund  to  the Supreme Court for lawyers'
23    assistance programs.

24        Section 99.  Effective date.  This Act  takes  effect  on
25    July 1, 2003.
