 1        AN ACT making appropriations.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5. The sum of $10,000,000, or  so  much  of  that
 5    amount  as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Capital
 6    Development Fund to the Capital Development Board for a grant
 7    to Chicago State University for  all  costs  associated  with
 8    construction of a Convocation Center.

 9        Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on July
10    1, 2003.
