 1        AN ACT making appropriations.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The amount of $100,000, or so  much  of  that
 5    amount   as  may  be  necessary,  is  appropriated  from  the
 6    Registered Certified Public Accountants'  Administration  and
 7    Disciplinary   Fund   to   the   Department  of  Professional
 8    Regulation for the purpose of contracting with  the  Illinois
 9    CPA Society to do a Peer Review Feasibility Study.

10        Section  99.   Effective  date.  This Act takes effect on
11    July 1, 2003.
