 1        AN ACT making appropriations.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  1.  The amount of $5,000,000, or so much of that
 5    amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the  General
 6    Revenue  Fund  to  the  Environmental  Protection  Agency for
 7    grants  to  the  City  of  Madison  for  sewer   repair   and
 8    construction.

 9        Section  99.   Effective  date.  This Act takes effect on
10    July 1, 2003.
