 1        AN ACT concerning the regulation of professions.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.   The  Home  Medical  Equipment  and  Services
 5    Provider  License  Act  is  amended by changing Section 45 as
 6    follows:

 7        (225 ILCS 51/45)
 8        (Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2008)
 9        Sec. 45. Display of license; advertising; penalties.
10        (a)  An entity that advertises home medical equipment and
11    services must shall, at its place of  business,  display  the
12    license of the entity.
13        (b)  No  entity  that  provides  home  medical  equipment
14    services may advertise the equipment and services unless that
15    entity  includes in the advertisement the statement "Licensed
16    in the State of Illinois".
